Frequently asked questions
We're a small team, so please check if answers to your question are below before contacting us - it really helps us! 🙂Your balloons will be delivered by DPD when you select DPD delivery at checkout.
If you are local to Leeds, you can also collect from our Warehouse for free between 10am and 5pm. You will be asked to choose a collection window.
If our balloons are to be delivered by our local team closer to Leeds, they may be delivered by our sister company PhotoBomb Events.
Our balloons in a box should last for 4-6 days in the right environment. Temperature matters and in the cold they'll deflate, in the warmth they may pop.
Sometimes DPD will store the balloons in cold warehouses or vans and the air will be cold, making the balloons look like they have deflated. Once back at room temperature they should reinflate naturally.
Most of the time, our boxes are branded. We do this so courier drivers know what's inside and to treat the box with a bit more care - and so there's less chance of heavy items being placed on top of the boxes as they go through the logistics chain. We cannot offer an option to have them plain.
At checkout you can choose either standard delivery which can be at any point between 7am and 6pm, or before 12 which will get them there between 7am and Noon. You are not able to choose a specific time in these windows
Yes we can do this but it is entirely at your own risk to do this and you must arrange it with them. If there is nobody there when the delivery is attempted, or the parcel is refused, the parcel may be taken away. There are no refunds for failed deliveries out of our control, or for losses if delivered to a venue
If you have specified a safe place for DPD Local to leave your parcel, they will try to leave it there. You must ask for this in the DPD app/website when you get your tracking list. Our boxes are very big so if it's not safe to leave the parcel where specified they might not leave it. We will not refund for parcels left in a safe place and then lost, or unable to be delivered on your chosen day if no-one is home.
If there's a mistake or something you want to change in your order, we will do our best to amend the order up until it is dispatched from our warehouse. For next day deliveries we have two times in a day where parcels are collected from us.
Balloons are classed as a perishable good and once inflated cannot be returned, reused or resold. However, if your item is faulty it does not affect your statutory rights and you can email us through the Contact Page or by replying to your order email.
Oooh we love a secret admirer! It's no problem to send balloons anonymously, there's no reference to who has ordered unless add a gift tag to the order
Don't release them into the sky, this really isn't good for the environment. Cut the end of the balloon and dispose of the balloon element in a bin. Try to reuse our weights and even the ribbons if you can.
Our boxes can be fully recycled, including the tape on them. They also make great dens or drawing pads for kids!
Generally, yes we can, although every hospital has its own policy.
You are responsible for checking with the hospital and locating the parcel after delivery - please do not expect it will be delivered to the ward or bedside, it's unlikely a hospital will allow this for security and health reasons.
